Small bands are available for parades and concerts. We perform in support of Zenobia Shrine and its Fraternal and Philanthropic activities.
Members of the Zenobia Band are Shriners and Masons – members of the World’s largest fraternal and philanthropic organizations. All Shriners are Masons. The red Fez is one of the most recognizable features of our uniform. The other well recognized attributes are the high quality of our performance, and our large repertory of musical styles.
The Zenobia Band has been appearing in parades and in concert in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for over 100 years. We’re still at it; still having a lot of fun entertaining you. If you are interested in having one of Zenobia’s Bands appear in your parade, please contact us through the Zenobia Shrine at 419-661-9200, extension 124. Our Recorder will provide you with a phone number to contact our Director, to set up arrangements for your parade. We are generally available from April through October.
Zenobia’s Band has as its primary philanthropic activity support for the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Shriner’s twenty two Hospitals provide orthopedic, spinal cord, and burn treatment for young people, usually up to 18 years of age. For details of what sorts of treatments we can provide please contact Zenobia Shrine at 419-661-9200, extension 120. We make music so that Kids might receive the best treatment and live better lives.
We welcome new members!! If you have ever played and would like to join us, come to a Monday night rehearsal at 7:30, and check us out. We have openings in just about every section. Keep an eye (and ear) out for prospective Band members. (especially woodwinds and percussion) We need rebuilding!!!
