The Zenobia Pilots is a unit consisting of aviation enthusiasts. The Pilots Unit was established in 1984 and has been participating in events, such as parades, fundraisers and civic events, for many years. Our Unit members include airline pilots, commercial pilots, private pilots, and aspiring pilots. We enjoy sharing flying stories, participating in parades, and participating in philanthropic activities supporting the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children and other youth activities in the Northwest Ohio area. The Shriners are the World’s largest fraternal and philanthropic organizations. Our red Fez is one of the most recognizable features of our uniform, but our parade planes are what the children enjoy the most.

The Zenobia Pilots enjoy having fun participating in local events. If you are interested in having the Zenobia Pilots appear in your parade, please contact us through the Zenobia Shrine at 419-661-9200, extension 124. Our Zenobia Recorder will provide you with a phone number to contact our Director, to set up arrangements for your parade. We are generally available from April through October.

All members of our unit are Masons and Shriners, but not all are pilots! We welcome new members. If you enjoy aviation and telling “hangar” stories, please join us. We meet on the third Thursday each month @ 6:30pm. Meeting locations vary, so please contact one of our members if interesting in joining us for flying and fellowship.
