Potentate’s Notes May 2026
Greetings Nobles,
What a great month we had. The Kids’ Easter Party had more than 100 people and 48 kids. The kids had fun with the Easter egg hunt and the Easter Bunny. There were many crafts to do and food to eat. Everyone had an amazing time. Then there was the Walleye game! Again, we had about 110 Shriners, Lady Shriners and Grotto in attendance. We started off the night on the Fanboni driving us around. Dinner and fellowship followed. Walleye came out on the short end of the stick, but we had a blast. Special THANK YOU to TROY HAWKINS on organizing the night.
April also brought us to Ohio Shrine Association. Congratulation to Ill. Sir Kevin Ridgeway on being elected as a vice president. Thank you to the Divan for adjusting your weekend to be there for Ill. Sir and participate in the association meeting.
Looking ahead, onion counts have been sent in and they should be here first full week of May. There may be a few extra, so if you need a bag call the office. May also will bring in Dueling Pianos. You can buy tickets online or call the office.
SPORTSMEN’S EXTRAVAGANZA tickets are here. Please come in and get your tickets. Don’t forget to sign some out to sell. The event will take place at the Lucas County Recreation Center on Saturday, October 3.
